RELIEF FROM BACK PAIN

I have the body function of a 40-year-old at 67 thanks to Adam Levy. I went to Adam at a point in my life where I had difficulty getting out of a chair and was in pain when I walked. I was under the care of a Pain Physician and Physical Therapist. Adam coordinated my training with my medical treatment plan. He focused on mobilizing my spine, strengthening my core, and significantly increasing the strength in my legs. I also was able to lose 10 pounds with Adam’s support. I am now pain free and squatting close to my body weight. Adam is not only a good trainer but an excellent person. I think he is successful because he connects with his clients and you look forward to your session because you are spending some time with a good friend.

IMPROVED MY GOLF GAME

As a mid-sixty-year-old, my workouts have changed over the years. My top priorities as an active golfer are improving my game and minimizing injuries. That’s where Adam comes in. I have learned I don’t need to lift heavier weights, which I had done for several years inevitably causing me back pain. Now I work on stability, mobility, balance, range of motion, power and certainly maintaining my strength. During the summer of 2019 my golf handicap dropped 6 strokes and I spent less time being sore or missing rounds! Adam is a sincere and caring trainer. He wants his clients to make progress and is determined to help me achieve my goals using exercises and stretches that focus on results.

LOST A COMBINED 100 POUNDS

We met Adam Levy through our primary care physician. Adam has worked with us to achieve a combined 100 pound weight loss. Adam always listens to our needs. An example of this is the preparation for our trip to the Galápagos Island’s and Machu Picchu. Adam worked with us for many weeks to prepare us for the uneven terrain and we successfully completed the demanding and rigorous trip. As we have moved into retirement we are continuing to work with Adam to meet our health goals. We find his focus on balance and strength building especially helpful. RETURNED TO TENNIS AND DANCE

Aging isn't easy, especially when a series of health issues - cancer, back and ankle pain - start to plague you. Although it often felt like two steps back for every step forward, 3 years of integrating my training into my health and recovery program was key to helping to identify pain triggers as well as physical instability. Having Adam work with and speak to my physicians and physical therapists enabled him to direct my training to maximize impact on any given day, even ones where I was in pain. I'm finally in the upswing, done with doctor's appointments, healthy and returning to tennis and dance (slowly!). Now I can focus on the next mountain - weight loss!

REBUILT MY CORE STRENGTH

I’ve been working with Adam for over a year now. He is a knowledgeable, friendly, personable, and a really helpful guy. He really cares about how you’re doing. I’m a 67-year old drummer, and I perform with a band and also teach and facilitate events. My body is essential to my work, including moving percussion instruments around like furniture. I’ve had a lot of issues with my back, to the point that I could barely get out of my car or get an instrument out of my bag. But with Adam’s persistence and guidance, I’ve been pain-free and I feel stronger. I haven’t felt this good in years. I look forward to each session and I always walk away each time feeling better.
